Creator terms
These are the rules of Magisterial Creators, in plain language. For a short version, see the FAQ.
01Who you are
- You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Magisterial.
- You must be 18 or older.
- Coaches cannot take part in the creator program.
02What you earn
- Your commission is a share of what we actually collect from the customers you referred, excluding tax and refunds.
- The rate and the period are the ones shown on the product when the customer was referred.
03Which customers are yours
- A customer counts as yours when they sign up through your link or enter your code before their first purchase.
- Each customer has one referrer.
04How you are paid
- Each commission is held for 30 days.
- After the hold, it is paid in the next monthly payout, through Stripe, once your balance is $25 or more.
05Refunds and disputes
- If a payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is reversed.
- If that commission was already paid to you, it comes out of your next payout.
06What you may not do
- You may not buy through your own link or create accounts to earn commission.
- Every post about a product you earn from must clearly disclose that you are paid, in the post itself.
- You may not make false claims or promise results such as a roster spot, an offer or a scholarship.
07Your content
- You keep ownership of your content.
- You allow us to show your posts on your storefront page and inside our own tools.
08Ending participation
- We can decline, suspend or end your participation, for example for missing disclosures or abuse.
- Commissions you earned fairly before that are still paid.
09College athletes
- If you are a college athlete, you are responsible for your own NIL reporting and for following your school’s, conference’s and state’s rules.
10Changes to these terms
- These terms can change. A change applies to customers referred after it.
